Galaxy Craft (Dev Log 10)


Ah that time of the day that I write this wonderful Dev Log. Honestly If you are here for the first time there is a whole series with these Dev Logs. This is the 10th (I guess you figured it out). I don't know if I am making myself clear, it feels like, since I am the one making the game, that I explaine stuff that you don't understand, and you are like "what is he talking about". Anyways I hope that is not the case and am gonna start with the Log.


Wow we have finally finished all the fundamentals of the game meaning that now we have a playable game . Although we still far from done because I want to make some more debuging and balancing. For example I had to up the health of the final stage boss from 150 to 500 (yeah it was pretty easy for the testers and myself). I want to add a few additions as well, some small changes to make the game smoother. And, yes, the only thing remaining for me to make a Demo is the save system, which honestly scares me a bit cause I know nothing about it xP. Also I need to add some more SFXs because I still need some to make the experience pleasant enough.

This week I did some more merging with the crafting and combat system, I added some SFXs, made the boss a bit harder and of course A LOT of debugging because this game is full of pesky bugs still .

Most people don't like debugging and it is the last thing they do. For me it's the opposite, whenever I find I bug I immediately try to fix it. I like my game being perfect (in my eyes) so that is mostly the reason.

Ouf that was a big Dev Log but it was the 10th one so it had to be special .
